Introduction

TMap Server automatizes the generation of server-side thematic maps : it makes your thematic maps always up-to-date on Internet/Intranet.

Your thematic maps are available on the net in a few clicks:

1. Create a new TMap Server map service.
2. Upload a TMap Designer thematic map to use as a template.
3. Create a data source to retrieve your data.
4. Define your map service properties (size, refresh schedule, data source, etc...)

TMap Server is extremely easy to integrate as:

• It is platform independent (Server OS, Database, Web Server)
• The Data comes from your existing database with minor customization.
• Thematic maps are available as standard images on HTML pages.
• User interaction with the thematic maps is performed using AJAX.
